This 74-year-old Japanese billionaire is a founder and president of a company named Fast Retailing which owns the brand Uniqlo. He opened the first Uniqlo store in Hiroshima in 1984 and has since never looked back. He was also a part of the Board of Directors with Softbank, a Japanese multinational investment company before retiring in 2019.

Just like LVMH Group’s Bernard Arnault, Ortega also appears in the world’s richest men’s list. In 1950, 14-year Ortega started his career in a small shop named Gala where he used to make shirts by hand. Slowly, he learned the trade and started the first Zara store in 1975 which is now a global brand.

Nair was recently named as the global CEO of the fashion house Chanel. Before Chanel, she was the Chief HR Officer with Unilever. She was the first female, the first Asian and the youngest ever in Unilever to ascend to this position. Nair was born in Kolhapur, Maharashtra in 1969 and completed her Bachelor’s in Engineering (Electronics & Telecommunication) before completing her post-graduation from XLRI, Jamshedpur. She is also a gold medallist from XLRI.
