The Karnataka delegation, led by Dr. S. Thippaswamy, Deputy Director of the Directorate of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, alongside Mr. Srinivas, Public Relations Officer of the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation Ltd., and Mrs. Sujatha and Mrs. Shobha, Managers at Jungle Lodges and Resorts Ltd., played a crucial role in showcasing the state’s tourism sector. Key stakeholders from hospitality, travel agencies, tour operators, and heritage and eco-tourism initiatives united to position Karnataka as a premier travel destination.

Distinguished Visits and Cultural Showcase

The Karnataka Tourism Pavilion attracted significant attention, including a visit from the Principal Secretary of Tourism, Government of Gujarat, Shri Rajendra Kumar (IAS), and the Managing Director and Commissioner of Tourism, Ms. Saidingpuii Chhakchhuak (IAS). The booth highlighted Karnataka’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as the majestic Hampi, the architectural marvels of Pattadakal, and the intricate temples of Belur. These sites, along with Karnataka’s pristine beaches, lush hill stations, and thriving wildlife sanctuaries, offered visitors a glimpse into the state’s rich cultural and natural diversity.
