In the much-anticipated cinematic spectacle, “Kalki 2898 AD,” director Nag Ashwin recently offered a glimpse into his experience working alongside iconic actors such as Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Prabhas. With the nation abuzz with excitement, this film has become a focal point of eager anticipation among fans.
Taking center stage at Asia’s Largest Science and Technology Festival held at IIT Bombay, Nag Ashwin found a warm reception as audiences eagerly sought insights into his collaboration with these megastars. Responding to the curiosity, the director shared, “The humility of all the actors involved in the project remarkably eases a director’s responsibilities.”
Venturing into the intricacies of navigating a VFX-laden production in India, Nag Ashwin acknowledged the inherent challenges while also expressing optimism about the ongoing advancements. He remarked, “The creation of a VFX-intensive film in India undoubtedly presents challenges. However, we’re witnessing significant strides and are on the cusp of realizing our creative vision.”
For those unfamiliar with the project, the team behind “Kalki 2898 AD” made a grand appearance at Comic Con USA earlier in the year. The star-studded event boasted the presence of Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Nag Ashwin, alongside producers Ashwini Dutt, Swapna Dutt, and Priyanka Dutt. The film’s release is slated for a nationwide debut in 2024.
