Karnataka Tourism Roadshow in Goa Showcases Unique Experiences

The Karnataka Tourism Roadshow that was held recently concluded successfully at the Fern Kadamba Hotel and Spa in Goa, eliciting significant interest from travel agents and industry stakeholders in the state’s diverse tourism landscape. Organized by the Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, in collaboration with Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation Ltd (KSTDC), Jungle Lodges and Resorts, and other stakeholders, the event showcased Karnataka’s myriad destinations, experiences, and hospitality to the Goan travel community.
 
Key representatives from Karnataka Tourism presented the state’s rich cultural heritage, stunning landscapes, wildlife sanctuaries, adventure activities, and renowned pilgrimage sites. Interactive sessions highlighted unique experiences such as exploring Hampi’s historical grandeur, trekking in the Western Ghats, relaxing on pristine beaches, and immersing oneself in Karnataka’s vibrant festivals and art forms.
 
The roadshow facilitated valuable interactions between Karnataka tourism stakeholders and Goan travel agents, fostering partnerships. Over 50 travel agents and tour operators participated in B2B meetings, exploring collaboration opportunities to promote Karnataka as a preferred destination for Goan tourists.
 
Given the deep cultural connection and similar tourist profiles between Goa and Karnataka, the roadshow served as a platform to showcase diverse offerings, potentially increasing tourist flow between the two states.
