As a gazetted officer, Ashwini has used her position to spearhead initiatives that uplift communities and advocate for social causes. From her early days as a civil engineering student at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, she championed the care of stray dogs under the project “Udhartha.” Inspired by this experience, Ashwini now aspires to establish a similar project for the care of stray dogs, further demonstrating her boundless compassion and dedication.

Throughout her academic journey, Ashwini showcased her multifaceted talents. She excelled in dance and represented the nation at the national level, fulfilling a childhood passion. Her pursuit of excellence also led her to participate in renowned international beauty pageants, where she showcased her talent, intelligence, and dedication. In 2022, Ashwini realized her dream of using beauty pageants as a platform for social service by collecting a grant of 4.5 lakhs for cancer children. Her remarkable achievements have positioned her as a respected figure in the realm of beauty with brains.

In addition to her beauty pageant successes, Ashwini has earned the title of “Ms Earth Ecosphere” and received Now Diva’s Indian Achievers Award as the “Best Social Worker in South India.” These accolades further underscore her impactful contributions to social causes and community development.

In collaboration with organizations like the Sathya Sai Trust, Ashwini has extended her social service activities to 108 adopted villages. These endeavors range from nurturing talent through teaching handicrafts to promoting awareness about hygiene, health, and other critical issues. By actively engaging with the villagers through storytelling and computer education, she has empowered individuals to rise above their circumstances and embrace new opportunities.

Despite her demanding role as an assistant engineer in the road infrastructure office in Bommanahalli zone, Ashwini has consistently demonstrated an exemplary work ethic and dedication. Her responsibilities encompass the management of roads across the southern part of Bangalore, and she takes pride in ensuring their optimum maintenance, irrespective of constraints and challenges. Ashwini’s ability to balance her government duties with her social service endeavors serves as an inspiration to both her colleagues and the larger community.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ashwini possesses a passion for martial arts, particularly the Kerala martial art of Kalarippayattu. She actively participates in devotional programs and engages in food distribution and cleanliness initiatives at institutions like the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (Nimhans) and Kidwai Cancer Hospital. Ashwini’s remarkable accomplishments, including winning the title of “Ms Earth Ecosphere” and Now being recognized as the “Best Social Worker in South India” by the Diva’s Indian Achievers Award, have only been made possible through the unwavering love and support of her mother, who has been her guiding force since the early loss of her father.
