Mumbai: Hari Om OTT has created a significant milestone in the Indian digital entertainment space with the launch of Bhagwan Jhulelal Sai, the country’s first-ever Sindhi-language OTT show. The devotional series premiered today, coinciding with the auspicious festival of Jhulelal Jayanti, and is available in both Sindhi and Hindi.
Founded in June 2024, Hari Om OTT has rapidly emerged as a platform dedicated to showcasing India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage. With Bhagwan Jhulelal Sai, the platform takes a pioneering step by bringing the story of Bhagwan Jhulelal to screens for the first time in OTT history, offering audiences an authentic and immersive viewing experience.
The show features actors Manish Raisinghani and Parag Tyagi in key roles and traces the life, journey, and teachings of Bhagwan Jhulelal Sai, a revered deity among the Sindhi community worldwide.
Speaking about his role, Manish Raisinghani shared,
“Portraying Jhulelal Sai and Varun Dev is not just a role, but a deeply spiritual journey and a matter of immense pride for me and my community. While I have worked on several national and international projects, this one is truly special. Playing the role of my own god feels like destiny, especially with the show being presented in our native Sindhi language.”
Parag Tyagi, who essays the role of Mirkh Shah, highlighted the uniqueness of the project, saying,
“This is the first show that beautifully blends mythology with history. Hari Om OTT has done something remarkable by presenting stories of our gods in their authentic language, making them more relatable and impactful.”
On the occasion of the launch, Avinash Dugar, CEO of Hari Om OTT, said,
“With Bhagwan Jhulelal Sai, we are proud to bring an inspiring story to the Sindhi community and audiences across the globe. Our vision is to continue presenting stories rooted in Indian culture and Sanatan Dharma in their most authentic form and language.”
Hari Om OTT has previously released devotional series such as Mata Lakshmi, Jai Jagannath, Shri Tirupati Balaji, Mata Saraswati, and Chandra Dev, all of which have been well received for their culturally rich storytelling.
With this latest release, the platform reinforces its commitment to delivering meaningful content that celebrates India’s spiritual and historical legacy.
