Mumbai, March 9, 2025: The highly anticipated action thriller BLINDSIDED, directed by KD Sandhu, is set to hit theaters on March 14. Set against the backdrop of Kashmir, the film follows Jai, a military officer who loses his vision during a secret operation. As he attempts to start a new life with his fiancée, Jennifer, their world is turned upside down when members of the notorious Al Hassan Misri syndicate—Sophia and Rolex—enter their lives. Their relentless pursuit threatens to destroy everything, leading to an intense battle of survival. Packed with action and suspense, the film also delivers a powerful message.
Veteran actor KD Sandhu, known for portraying villains in over 50 films, has taken on multiple roles as the writer, producer, and director of BLINDSIDED. Reflecting on his journey, he shares, “I began my career in Bollywood in 1996 and have worked across Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Punjabi cinema. I have also assisted renowned directors like David Dhawan, Guddu Dhanoa, Dev Anand, Gulzar Sahab, Rajkumar Santoshi, and Imran Khalid, and collaborated as a stunt director with industry legends like Tinu Verma, Shyam Kaushal, Ram Shetty, and Veeru Devgan.”
Taking his vast experience forward, Sandhu has now produced and directed BLINDSIDED under his home production banners—Mickey Flix Entertainment Film and KD Arts Films International. He has also penned the film’s gripping storyline.
Udhay Bir Sandhu, who plays the lead role, is thrilled about the film’s release. “This action thriller is not just about entertainment; it carries a special message for the audience. We shot across multiple locations, including Mumbai, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, as well as Armenia, Greece, and Georgia,” he revealed.
The film features a talented ensemble cast, including Farah Khan, Akanksha Shandilya, Mohammad Umar, KD Sandhu, Chitra Sharma, Saurabh Agnihotri, Dharmendra Gupta, Dharmendra Pradhan, Gautam Basantani, and Akash Agarwal.
With a team of industry experts, the film boasts stunning visuals captured by DOPs Siddharth Akki Baiju, Arjun Kathuria, Pravesh Kumar, and Gautam B. The executive producer is Gopal Sahu, while the music is composed by Ujjwal Roy Chaudhary and Manoj Kumar Bhaskar, with lyrics by Mickeyflix Jhakharwala. Action sequences are helmed by RP Yadav and Deepak Sharma, while Sudhanshu Roy serves as the art director and Kamaldeep Singh Sandhu as the choreographer. Public relations are managed by Sanjay Bhushan Patiyala.
